Todays Thought

No drug, not even alcohol, causes the fundamental ills of society. If we're looking for the source of our troubles, we shouldn't test people for drugs, we should test them for stupidity, ignorance, greed, and love of power.

Todays Thought

It is criminal to steal a purse, daring to steal a fortune, a mark of greatness to steal a crown. The blame diminishes as the guilt increases.

Todays Thought

Once and for all

the idea of glorious victories

won by the glorious army

must be wiped out

Neither side is glorious

On either side they're just frightened men messing their pants

and they all want the same thing

Not to lie under the earth

but to walk upon it

without crutches.

-Peter Weiss, writer, artist, and filmmaker (8 Nov 1916-1982)
